The Department of Statistics of AUEB has successfully activated the first Double Degree Program at AUEB with University of Pavia, one of the oldest Universities in Europe.
This bilateral agreement allows the students who participate to obtain, at the end of the studies’ period, two postgraduate M.Sc. degrees: one from AUEB in Statistics and one from University of Pavia in Finance
Αll students that follow the M.Sc. in Statistics in AUEB
are eligible to apply for the Double Degree . Nevertheless, the positions are limited to 3 per year. The interested students should apply at the beginning of the course.
For AUEB Students of M.Sc. in Statistics, no extra fees will be paid at University of Pavia.
Funding may be provided via the ERASMUS+ program.

I am very happy that our students will have the opportunity to study at the AUEB as members of the AUEB-Pavia dual degree program. Several years ago, I completed my post-doctoral research at the Department of Statistics of AUEB and I still collaborate with many faculty members of the Department at AUEB. I hope that in the near future we will also celebrate the graduation of our first double degree student.
